Trade Support Associate
5 days in office and shift pattern between 7am - 4pm / 9am - 6pm. A leading global investment bank is seeking a Trade Support Associate to join their London-based operations team.

What you'll do:
- Input client sub account allocations into the Order Management System (OMS) with precision and care, ensuring all data is accurately recorded for seamless processing.
- Complete end-of-day activities efficiently, maintaining operational integrity and supporting the smooth closure of daily trading cycles.
- Support GDR conversions by collaborating closely with Sales Traders and other stakeholders to ensure accurate information retrieval and reporting for clients.
- Reconcile client confirmations where applicable, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail in verifying transaction records and resolving discrepancies.
- Retrieve, collate, and distribute client static data to relevant offices across the global network, facilitating effective communication and operational support.
- Provide operational assistance for placements by completing blotters and retrieving signed letters from clients for onward transmission to Head Office.
- Resolve ad hoc requests from clients or internal sources promptly, displaying responsiveness and commitment to excellent service delivery.
- Create and monitor trades for any residual EMF trades, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Perform reconciliations of stock positions between in-house systems and agent statements, addressing any discrepancies through ad hoc resolution as needed.
- Disseminate NAV and management fee information accurately to stakeholders, supporting transparency in financial reporting.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree holder with proven academic achievement relevant to financial services or business administration.
- Minimum three years of prior experience within financial services demonstrating familiarity with trade support or settlement functions.
- Strong efficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy throughout all processes.
- Excellent numeracy skills enabling you to manage complex reconciliations and financial calculations effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring that all trade-related data is processed correctly without errors or omissions.
- Good interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments as well as external stakeholders.
- Ability to co-operate within a communal team setting while sharing knowledge generously among peers.
- Familiarity with computer systems including MS Office applications which supports efficient workflow management.
- Basic understanding of commercial principles as well as regulatory environments governing global equity settlements.
- Commitment to adhering strictly to environmental management systems and company policies.
