Client Service Expert
A leading global asset management organisation is seeking a Client Services Expert for a 12-month contract based in London. Must have experience with Client Services and Institutional Clients. Preferable - experience in asset management and PowerBI dataset production.
What you'll do:
- Provide effective support for institutional clients by managing timely administration of the UK Distribution institutional client base alongside the client-facing team and business developers.
- Understand the unique servicing requirements of clients, consultants, and service providers, establishing suitable solutions that engage the wider business to deliver on commercial expectations.
- Contribute actively to delivering a strong client experience that is responsive, accurate, and conducted in line with best practice standards for distribution.
- Maintain oversight and liaison with transfer agents, service providers, and custodians to ensure seamless operations across the client value chain.
- Support coordination and project management of change events involving legal, operational, investment, or compliance aspects within the organisation.
- Assist in the delivery of meaningful work that contributes directly to the strategic ambitions of distribution teams across EMEA and growth markets.
- Engage with regional business developers and investment professionals to expand existing relationships through excellent client servicing.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance the overall client lifecycle experience while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilise technical skills such as Microsoft Office suite proficiency and PowerBI dataset production to support data-driven decision making within the team.
- Demonstrate agility and adaptability in responding to dynamic client needs within a fast-evolving asset management environment.
What you bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is essential for supporting daily operations within the team.
- Experience with PowerBI and dataset production is highly desirable as it enables you to contribute effectively to data-driven projects.
- A basic understanding of financial services sector with genuine interest in asset management will help you navigate industry-specific challenges.
- Previous work experience within financial services or asset management is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is equally valued.
- Interest in client-facing roles combined with strong interpersonal skills ensures you can build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Excellent organisational abilities allow you to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills enable you to identify solutions quickly when faced with complex problems or change events across the value chain.
