What you'll do:
As a Senior Associate Transfers based in London, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of some of the most valued clients within this leading financial services organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging directly with high-net-worth individuals across multiple channels whether over the phone, via secure messaging platforms or during planned meetings, to provide tailored guidance on complex pension and investment matters. You will take end-to-end responsibility for onboarding new clients, ensuring their introduction to the company is seamless and reassuring. In addition to managing intricate transfer processes with precision and care, you will also lead managed service meetings designed to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. Your expertise will be called upon as an escalation point for challenging queries while you contribute actively to team training initiatives. By analysing client feedback and data trends, you will help drive continuous improvements in how services are delivered. Success in this role means not only meeting but exceeding client expectations through empathy, attention to detail, and a commitment to professional excellence.
- Deliver exceptional service to high-value and high-complexity clients by responding promptly and thoughtfully to inbound calls and secure messages, ensuring all guidance is clear and comprehensive.
- Take full ownership of onboarding new affluent, HNW and UHNW clients by proactively reaching out, setting expectations, and guaranteeing a seamless start to their journey with the organisation.
- Coordinate high-risk transfers into the company by liaising with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth execution and excellent communication throughout the process.
- Lead Managed Services booked meetings (including Managed ISA & Pension), supporting clients in achieving strong financial outcomes through expert advice and attentive follow-up.
- Act as an escalation point for Managed Services queries, providing advanced support and sharing your expertise with the wider Client Services team through training sessions.
- Utilise client data and insights to identify areas for improvement within the service model, contributing ideas that enhance both efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in investment markets by leading huddles, facilitating training sessions, and participating in knowledge-building activities across the team.
- Collaborate closely with a small group of dedicated professionals who put client interests at the centre of every decision, fostering a culture of mutual support.
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in the organisation’s funds, products, and services while staying informed about broader legal, tax, and regulatory considerations relevant to client needs.
- Uphold consistently high standards of professionalism, judgement, and client-focused decision-making in every aspect of your work.
What you bring:
- Proven experience working within Investments, Wealth Management or related fields where exposure to pensions and investments has been significant.
- A relevant Level 4 qualification such as Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Investment Advice Diploma, IMC Level 1 & 2 or Level 4 Certificate in Investment Management is essential for this position.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport quickly with high-net-worth clients as well as senior stakeholders within the business.
- A track record of delivering outstanding client service by being responsive, considerate, empathetic and always putting client needs first.
- Strong organisational abilities allowing you to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality or accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills which ensure clarity when explaining complex information or resolving sensitive issues.
- A genuine interest in investment markets coupled with a willingness to share knowledge through leading training sessions or informal huddles within your team.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within small teams where shared goals are achieved through mutual support rather than competition.
- Sound understanding of legal, tax and regulatory frameworks affecting financial services so that you can offer holistic advice tailored to individual circumstances.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education/training/experience demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development.
