You will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless client onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting key internal stakeholders across multiple regions.
What you'll do:
As a Client Lifecycle Management Associate based in London, you will be instrumental in facilitating smooth onboarding experiences for clients while upholding rigorous regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Relationship and Sales Managers to ensure timely and accurate opening of new accounts for both corporate clients and traders, providing essential information for optimal client service.
- Receive and review applications for account openings and closures, verifying customer information against formal requirements and processing all relevant data within internal systems.
- Assess client documentation packages for completeness and accuracy in line with Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, identifying discrepancies and liaising with Relationship Managers or Compliance as needed.
- Evaluate screening results and sustainability assessments to identify potential risks or adverse findings, providing clear justifications for file submissions.
- Prepare comprehensive client acceptance submission packages, securing necessary approvals from relevant committees before finalising onboarding.
- Manage trader registration and deregistration processes across major European and US exchanges, ensuring all records are up-to-date within the client database.
- Maintain all client, exchange, and trader-related information electronically in Salesforce, ensuring documentation is valid, accurate, complete, and easily retrievable.
- Assist in resolving day-to-day client queries by escalating issues appropriately and maintaining open lines of communication with internal teams such as Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Treasury, and other commercial teams globally.
- Participate in project-related tasks aimed at streamlining processes or addressing systemic challenges within the department.
- Support audit preparations by gathering required regulatory documentation and responding promptly to audit or compliance requests.
What you bring:
To excel as a Client Lifecycle Management Associate you will bring hands-on experience from previous roles involving complex client onboarding processes within regulated financial institutions. Your background should include direct involvement with KYC reviews; managing sensitive data through robust CRM platforms; producing clear reports for management; supporting audit requests; training peers on evolving procedures; engaging constructively with diverse stakeholders; analysing workflows for improvement opportunities; and demonstrating reliability under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience working within client lifecycle management or similar roles in financial services environments where regulatory compliance is paramount.
- Proven ability to assess KYC documentation thoroughly for accuracy and completeness while adhering strictly to internal policies and external regulations.
- Strong familiarity with onboarding processes for both corporate clients and traders across multiple jurisdictions including Europe and the United States.
- Excellent organisational skills enabling you to manage large volumes of data accurately within CRM systems such as Salesforce while meeting tight deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills that allow you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, Sales, Relationship Management, Audit, and external partners such as exchanges.
- A keen analytical mindset capable of identifying process inefficiencies or systemic issues and recommending practical solutions for improvement.
- Experience preparing detailed reports or management information packs for internal or external audiences using agreed parameters within set timelines.
- Ability to train colleagues on systems or procedures as well as maintain up-to-date departmental guidelines reflecting current best practices.
- Comfortable participating in project-based workstreams aimed at enhancing operational efficiency or regulatory adherence within commercial banking environments.
