A boutique management consultancy is seeking a highly knowledgeable Fund Transfer Pricing SME at Director level to play a pivotal role in an international banking group. What you'll do:

• Act as the senior subject matter expert for Fund Transfer Pricing throughout the transformation programme, offering authoritative advice on all aspects of FTP methodology and implementation.
• Review existing FTP methodologies, frameworks, policies, and processes to identify areas for enhancement and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Lead the design and development of new or improved FTP methodologies across various products and business lines, ensuring robust integration with broader balance-sheet management strategies.
• Provide specialist input on liquidity management, funding structures, interest-rate risk considerations, and their implications for FTP.
• Assess how changes to FTP methodology affect business profitability, product pricing strategies, and overall performance measurement metrics.
• Collaborate closely with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and other business stakeholders to ensure that FTP approaches are fully integrated with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex FTP concepts into clear recommendations for senior management and programme leaders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to enhance governance structures, controls, operating processes, and challenge existing approaches where appropriate.
• Support the end-to-end implementation of new or enhanced FTP methodologies by contributing to requirements gathering, solution design, testing phases, and final roll-out.
• Review modelling assumptions and calculations critically to ensure accuracy and robustness in all analytical outputs related to FTP.

What you bring:

• Extensive hands-on experience in Fund Transfer Pricing gained within major banking environments or specialist FTP functions.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking balance sheets including liquidity management principles, funding mechanisms, and interest-rate risk dynamics.
• Proven track record in developing or reviewing advanced FTP methodologies that align with both regulatory standards and commercial objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in how FTP interacts with product pricing models, profitability analysis frameworks, and performance management systems.
• Experience engaging effectively with Treasury and Finance teams while also building strong relationships with Risk functions and wider business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate confidently at Director or senior leadership level within complex banking organisations or consultancies supporting such clients.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills coupled with clear communication abilities that enable you to influence senior decision makers constructively.
• Background in delivering large-scale transformation programmes or regulatory change initiatives within financial services is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working at both strategic planning levels as well as delving into detailed analysis of modelling assumptions or calculation methodologies.
• Desirable: Experience in areas such as Liquidity Transfer Pricing; behavioural modelling; liquidity premiums; deposit or loan pricing; treasury transformation; prudential regulation; or management information reporting.
