The Opportunity
A fast-growing, entrepreneurial investment reporting business is seeking a Head of Fund Reporting to lead and develop its client reporting function. The business works with family offices and high-net-worth individuals, managing c.$5bn+ of assets and delivering sophisticated, consolidated investment reporting solutions across complex multi-asset portfolios.
This is a high-impact leadership role within a scaling organisation, offering the opportunity to shape the future of the reporting function while playing a key role in the firm’s next phase of growth.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of the investment reporting function, leading a team of fund accounting professionals and ensuring best-in-class delivery to a demanding client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the delivery of all client investment reporting outputs
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of complex multi-asset portfolios
- Acting as senior escalation point for client queries and reporting challenges
- Leading, developing, and motivating a team of fund accountants
- Managing work allocation, deadlines, and reporting cycles
- Driving process improvement, efficiency, and service quality
- Overseeing client onboarding and implementation of new mandates
- Producing management reporting on performance, capacity, and profitability
- Supporting business growth, including involvement in client pitches and strategic initiatives
Candidate Profile
This role is specifically targeted at individuals currently leading or managing investment reporting or fund accounting teams.
You will likely have:
- ACA qualification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable post-qualified experience within fund accounting, investment reporting, or a similar environment
- A strong track record managing complex alternative investment portfolios
- Experience overseeing client reporting deliverables and deadlines
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, develop, and motivate teams
- Strong understanding of alternative investments, wealth management, and multi-asset structures
