FS Corporate Tax Senior Manager

This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of leading financial services clients, including international banks, asset managers, insurance companies, private equity and alternative investment funds, venture capital firms, private credit funds, and innovative fintech businesses.

As part of the Financial Services Tax team, you will manage the delivery of both advisory and compliance services to large corporate and institutional clients. You will work on complex UK and international tax matters, support significant transactions and restructuring projects, and help clients navigate an increasingly challenging regulatory and tax landscape.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality tax advice while building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand existing engagements.

You will also play an important role in supporting the firm's growth strategy through business development, thought leadership, and the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technically robust tax advice to large corporate financial services businesses and multinational institutions.
• Manage corporate and partnership tax compliance processes, ensuring reporting obligations and deadlines are met.
• Support investor reporting requirements across a range of investment structures.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
• Collaborate across tax, advisory, and international teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional work from existing and prospective clients.
• Lead and manage client projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Support the coaching, mentoring, and technical development of junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with risk management, governance, and quality control procedures.

About You

The successful candidate is likely to have:

• CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience managing a portfolio of financial services tax clients.
• Strong technical knowledge across corporate and partnership taxation.
• Experience within the financial services sector, ideally covering asset management, private equity, venture capital, private credit, banking, insurance, or alternative investment funds.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• A commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing junior professionals.
• Familiarity with relevant tax and reporting software, including Alpha Tax, CCH, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
