Part-Qualified Management Accountant

I am currently recruiting a Part-Qualified Management Accountant (actively studying) to join our client based in Warwickshire. This role is paying £40-45k per annum and requires 3 days per week in the office.

What you'll do:

• Prepare monthly management accounts by reviewing all postings accurately and ensuring completion according to month-end deadlines, including payroll, depreciation, intercompany transactions, expenses, cash postings, and closing ledgers.
• Manage postings of accruals and prepayments for operational business sections, conduct intercompany reconciliations and sales reconciliations, ensuring timely completion in line with month-end timelines.
• Produce final management accounts for relevant business units under supervision, using variance analysis to identify potential errors and discussing findings with senior management to propose rectifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues both locally and internationally to review financial reports and present them to the Financial Controller for review and potential revision.
• Work closely with the wider finance team to identify and implement continuous process improvements across finance functions through technology-driven solutions.
• Coordinate with the finance team to provide accurate information for interim and group audits, including initial data sets and audit sampling support.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reviews to a high standard, using results to identify business risks and highlight process improvements.
• Liaise with onsite teams to build positive relationships, resolve issues promptly, and develop understanding of day-to-day business operations.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the business needs.
• Adapt responsibilities periodically after review and consultation to meet evolving organisational requirements.

• Possess proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel or AI-based platforms used for financial analysis.
• Hold ACCA or CIMA qualification or be actively working towards achieving these professional credentials (mandatory).
• Demonstrate adaptability by embracing new technologies or process changes that enhance accuracy or efficiency within finance operations.
• Show empathy when liaising with onsite teams; build positive relationships that foster trust and mutual understanding.
• Maintain honesty in all communications while being sensitive to diverse perspectives within an inclusive workplace.
