Finance Business Partner - Energy & Natural Resources

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Finance Business Partner to join a growing international energy group, acting as the key link between Group Finance in London and finance teams across multiple global operation. This role is a unique position offering someone the opportunity to combine technical accounting excellence with finance business partnering expertise.

Key remits to the role;

• Support and challenge local finance teams on reporting and accounting matters.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Investigate reporting issues and improve data quality using SAP.
• Drive improvements across finance systems, controls and processes.
• Promote best practice in balance sheet reconciliations and financial governance.
• Support external, JV and governmental audits.
• Contribute to finance transformation and ad hoc projects.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

The Ideal profile for the role;

• A qualified accountant with an audit background with a keen interest in Energy and Natural Resources
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Knowledge of IFRS
• Strong Analytical skills
