  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight, budgeting support and performance analysis.
  • Enjoy flexible working opportunities and ongoing training support within a collaborative finance function committed to professional development.
  • Join an inclusive team that values transparency, continuous improvement and high-quality financial reporting.

What you'll do:

As the Finance Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting financial planning, forecasting and business performance reporting. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure financial information is translated into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, analysing business performance and identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial visibility.

  • Support the FP&A Manager in preparing budgets, forecasts and long-range planning activities by working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Act as a key finance contact for operational stakeholders, ensuring financial information supports business objectives and decision-making.
  • Provide proactive financial analysis and business support, delivering insight-driven recommendations rather than simply reporting data.
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss reporting, supported by detailed analysis and commentary on performance trends and key drivers.
  • Support profitability and performance analysis across various business areas to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist with investment appraisal and expenditure approval processes, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
  • Contribute to the production of monthly management and board reporting packs.
  • Produce regular KPI reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting support for senior finance stakeholders.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, automation, efficiency and the overall quality of financial insight.

What you bring:

To succeed as a Finance Analyst, you will bring strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of financial and operational data. You will be comfortable communicating with stakeholders across different functions and translating complex information into meaningful insights. A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in continuous improvement will enable you to identify opportunities to enhance reporting and support business performance. You may already have experience in FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting and be working towards a professional accounting qualification.

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
  • Experience working with significant volumes of data to produce meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Part-qualified accountant status (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Previous experience within FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting or a similar analytical finance role would be
  • beneficial.
