Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing £75,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support operational and strategic decision-making across a complex, fast-paced environment. Working closely with senior operational leaders, you will provide financial insight, challenge and analysis to improve performance, drive efficiencies and support the delivery of key business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Partner with senior operational leaders to provide financial insight, challenge and support across a broad range of business activities.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting processes, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of performance drivers and risks.
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis and commentary to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Develop strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams, acting as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders.
- Support the identification and delivery of cost optimisation and business improvement initiatives.
- Drive improvements in reporting, planning processes and financial controls to enhance decision-making and business performance.
- Work closely with accounting, commercial and operational teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information.
- Support business transformation, systems enhancements and process improvement projects.
- Provide insight into working capital, inventory and operational performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control.
- Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with internal governance and reporting standards.
What You'll Bring
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or Operational Finance role.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders within a manufacturing, engineering, technology or operationally complex environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge, influence and support decision-making.
- Proven experience of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis.
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong relationship-building skills with experience working across multiple functions and disciplines.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience of ERP systems and advanced financial modelling/reporting tools.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of enhancing processes, controls and reporting.
Working Pattern: 4 days on site
