My client, a leading European retail organisation, are looking to hire a commercially savvy Finance Business Partner to join their stunning offices in Runcorn.

A leading healthcare distribution organisation is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their commercial finance team in Runcorn. This role offers you the opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing essential financial, analytical, and business support to drive sound decision-making and profitable growth.

You will be at the heart of strategic projects, process improvements, and investment appraisals, ensuring that your expertise shapes the future direction of the business.

What you'll do:

• Provide commercial insight and analytical support across projects, process changes and investment appraisals, including post-investment reviews.
• Analyse investment opportunities and provide financial and accounting support throughout project lifecycles, acquisitions and transitions into business as usual.
• Partner with the Management Team to understand business performance, identify root causes and provide constructive challenge and recommendations for corrective action.
• Develop and utilise management information to evaluate performance, improve profitability and support wider business strategy.
• Support the development and rollout of self-serve tools, helping stakeholders access and make better use of financial information.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for your areas of the business, working closely with key stakeholders.
• Monitor market developments and assess their potential impact on the business, providing relevant insight to support decision-making.
• Identify emerging trends across revenue, margin and costs, quantifying their impact on P&L and cash flow.
• Produce ad hoc management information and analysis to support key business decisions.
• Contribute to wider projects and initiatives across the finance function as required.

What you bring:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Relevant post-qualified experience in financial analysis and decision support within a commercial or industry environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively.
• Experience of proposing, justifying and implementing change across a business.
• Experience building robust business cases to support commercial decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels.
• A proactive, confident and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills; experience with SAP or other financial systems would be beneficial.
• Project management experience would be advantageous.
