An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused Head of Finance to join a growing organisation. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy and supporting continued business growth. As Head of Finance, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls and effective financial planning. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic insight, drive operational performance and support key business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on financial management with a broader commercial and strategic remit.

Responsibilities of the Head of Finance

• Lead the finance function, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and high standards of financial management.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, board reports and annual statutory accounts.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organisation's long-term objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to support business planning.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and treasury functions to ensure the ongoing financial stability of the business.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal governance procedures.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Drive improvements in financial systems, controls and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

What the successful candidate will bring

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating in a senior finance leadership role.
• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams within a fast-paced environment.
