Financial Controller

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day finance function within the business.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and present management accounts with insightful analysis to senior leadership.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage and develop a small finance team, providing coaching and leadership.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the business to drive commercial decision making.
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation and liaise with auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
• Support strategic initiatives and business growth plans.

Key essentials of the Financial Controller:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Advanced Excel and systems proficiency
