Financial Reporting Analyst – Immediate Start Location: Crewe / Hybrid (predominantly remote) Salary: Up to £50,000 FTC equivalent or £300 per day Duration: Interim contract – duration to be confirmed Availability: Immediate

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst to join a well-established, international organisation on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional with experience across statutory and regulatory reporting, who can hit the ground running and take ownership of reporting responsibilities across multiple UK legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Reporting & Audit

• Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts across multiple UK entities.

• Prepare financial statements under UK GAAP.

• Support going concern assessments and audit documentation.

• Coordinate external audit processes, working with internal finance teams and external auditors.

• Support quarterly statutory reporting requirements.

Regulatory & Solvency Reporting

• Assist with Solvency UK reporting requirements, including annual Pillar II reporting and SFCR.

• Support quarterly regulatory reporting processes.

• Coordinate reporting inputs across finance and actuarial teams.

• Ensure reporting is accurate and delivered within strict deadlines.

Financial & Group Reporting

• Prepare monthly intercompany expense charge calculations.

• Support the accurate processing and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.

• Take ownership of the general ledger for allocated entities.

• Work closely with senior finance stakeholders.

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA

• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP.

• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts.

• Experience managing external audit processes.

• Strong general ledger and financial reporting knowledge.

• Able to work autonomously across multiple entities.

• Excellent Excel skills.

• Insurance or financial services experience would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of Solvency II / Solvency UK reporting would be beneficial.
