Finance Manager

Location: Coventry (Hybrid available) Rate: £300 - £350 per day Contract: 6 Months Start Date: Immediate

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Coventry on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a key leadership role, supporting financial operations, reporting, and business performance during a period of change and growth.

The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will play a crucial role in ensuring the finance function operates efficiently while providing valuable commercial insight to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial analysis and strategic support
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity
• Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiencies
• Mentor and support members of the finance team where required

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Proven experience operating at Finance Manager level
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/finance systems
• Available to commence at short notice or immediately
