Payroll Specialist

Unify Payroll Specialist As our Unify Payroll Specialist, you’ll take ownership of the mid-month payroll for around 630 colleagues, making sure everyone is paid accurately, compliantly and on time. You’ll be the go-to payroll expert, working closely with the Payroll Manager, People Team, Finance and our external payroll partners to deliver a seamless experience for our colleagues.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage payroll queries, calculations, pensions, legislative changes and out-of-cycle payments, while also having the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen controls and lead payroll projects. You’ll bring strong end-to-end payroll experience, a solid understanding of payroll legislation and TUPE, and the confidence to advise managers and colleagues. Experience with Cascade, Timegate or Brain would be advantageous, alongside strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, but they’re not essential.
