Temporary Management Accountant (3-Month Contract)
Location: Cannock (5 days onsite)
Salary: Equivalent to £40,000–£50,000 (pro rata)
Start Date: Immediate

Role Overview

We are seeking an immediately available Management Accountant to join our team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a hands-on role based fully onsite in Cannock, requiring a candidate who can quickly integrate into the team and operate with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Preparation of management accounts with supporting analysis
• Variance analysis and commentary for key stakeholders
• Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities where required
• Ensuring financial data accuracy and adherence to internal controls
• Liaising with finance and non-finance stakeholders as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience managing the full month-end process independently
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach
• Must be immediately available
