An evolving business is looking to broaden its finance sector with the new addition of a biller to the team. Based in Manchester, this company is the leading and largest of its kind, providing a collaborative and professional atmosphere, as well as offering a hybrid working week with three days a week working from home.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for the billing of a portfolio of the firm’s clients. As the billing specialist, you will ensure the accurate and timely production of client estimates, raising client invoices and wip management. You will also have to provide timely and accurate cost estimates and pro-forma invoices in accordance with instructions from partners, and other fee-earning employees and you will also be matching revenue with direct costs monthly, liaising with accounts payable to resolve any unmatched items. This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours weekly from Monday to Friday for 35k annually.

To apply you must have experience with the billing processes in a law firm or professional services environment, to be organised and capable of working to strict deadlines, be proactive and have the ability to take full ownership for your responsibilities, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Intermediate Excel skills, and most importantly have a positive and flexible attitude to striving to achieve results.
