2017 Finance Awards Shortlist

THE 2017 FINANCE AWARDS SHORTLIST:

Chief Financial Officer of the Year

This will be awarded to a Chief Financial Officer with a demonstrable legacy of delivering transformation, leadership and an outstanding performance. The winner of this award may have been a pioneer of significant change, made a vital contribution to the leadership of the business and/or led a local finance function that is seen as adding significant value to business.

Finance Director of the Year

Awarded to the Finance Director with a demonstrable legacy of delivery in financial performance, leadership and management. He or she must be able to provide examples of providing strategic direction to their company.

Rising Star of the Year

This award is split into two categories, non/part qualified and qualified.

Presented to the most passionate, driven and delivery focused person in the market. The winner of this award will be a finance professional with under 8 years of experience. They must be able to provide examples of high achievement and out-performing their peer group.

Finance Team of the Year

This category is divided into two categories: a team of 20 people or less and a team over 20 people.

The Finance Team of the year will demonstrate excellence in their field, with proven examples of collective successes within the last 12 months. The winning team may have positively impacted the wider business through outstanding achievements in the delivery of projects and encompass an infectious team spirit. Apply here.

 

Shared Service Centre of the Year

This award will be measured against strength of processes and people. We will be looking for examples of key achievements around delivery and exemplary customer service. Apply here.

 

Mentor of the Year

This award will go to an individual who has acted as a mentor to another finance professional(s), and has developed, coached and inspired their mentee(s). Apply here.

 

Graduate Scheme of the Year

This will be awarded to the organisation that has helped shape future finance professionals by targeting and focusing on employees that can make a long term contribution to the company. Our judging panel will be looking for a Graduate Scheme that stands out and offers graduates a wealth of experience and can demonstrate proven success. Apply here.

 

Business of the Year (SME)

The winner of this award will be an innovative organisation, who has achieved financial growth due to the direct and positive impact of the accounting and finance team. The winner of this award must be able to provide strategies which have driven business growth and an overview of their financial performance over the last 12 months.

To enter for this award, the business must have a site and finance function in either Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, or Essex. Applicants for this award must employ less than 250 employees. Apply here.

Business of the Year (Large)

The winner of this award will be an innovative organisation, who has achieved financial growth due to the direct and positive impact of the accounting and finance team.
