In what was another impactful year globally for the diversity and inclusion movement, +6,000 professionals completed a survey to help us understand the state of play of ED&I across UK and Irish workplaces.
The ED&I Strategy Report highlights the key trends, issues, best practice case studies and strategic advice for companies on how to improve their approach to equality, diversity & inclusion.
Partnering with Censuswide, Walters People and Resource Solutions, we will be releasing separate chapters to provide specific strategic advice on the key topics surrounding ED&I.

Key Findings
- 31% of professionals from a minority ethnic background have felt discriminated against for their personal dialect
- Twice as many Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Black Caribbean professionals had experienced discrimination based on their personal demographic at work than White British/Irish professionals
- Half of professionals from minority ethnic backgrounds don’t agree that everyone, no matter who they are, can be successful in their organisation, compared to less than a third of White British/Irish professionals
- 48% more Bangladeshi professionals cited lack of confidence as a main barrier to their career progression than White British/Irish professionals
