This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking audit team, drive meaningful change, and grow your career in a high-performing, inclusive environment. 📍 Location: South Birmingham 💼 Position: Principal Auditor 📅 Full-Time, Permanent 💰 Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Principal Auditor:

  • Execute high-quality, risk-based audit reviews across retail and functional areas

  • Deliver clear, insightful audit reports and agree findings with senior stakeholders

  • Support the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies

  • Maintain compliance with internal audit policies, tools, and standards

  • Assist with risk assessments, audit planning, and follow-up activities

Key essentials of the Principal Auditor:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA, CIMA)

  • Strong understanding of UK regulations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
