About the Role:

The Senior Management Accountant supports accurate and timely delivery of regional financial reporting, analysis, and control. The role includes responsibility for preparing and reviewing management accounts, partnering with business stakeholders, supporting audit and compliance processes, and mentoring junior team members. It is a key role bridging operational activity with financial outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing:

Financial Reporting & Control

• Prepare and review monthly financial results including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data through strong reconciliations and journal reviews.
• Support the statutory reporting process and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks.

Client Finance & Revenue Assurance

• Collaborate with client teams to understand and analyse revenue, margin, and cost trends.
• Assist in ensuring revenue recognition aligns with accounting policy and contract terms.
• Investigate variances, billing issues, and support resolution activities.

Business Partnering & Insight

• Work closely with regional and client stakeholders to provide insight and recommendations.
• Translate financial data into operationally relevant commentary.
• Contribute to forecast and budgeting cycles through financial input and analysis.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Support continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting templates.
• Maintain high standards of data integrity in ERP and other reporting systems.
• Identify and resolve inefficiencies in current working practices.

People Support & Development

• Mentor and guide Management Accountants and Assistant Management Accountants.
• Support team development by sharing knowledge, offering feedback, and encouraging collaboration.

Who You Are:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Demonstrable experience in management accounting, controls, and audit support.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience.
• Ability to explain finance concepts to non-finance audiences.
