Financial Reporting Accountant

Interim Financial Accountant 6-month Fixed-term Contract Up to £60,000 DOE

I'm delighted to be partnered with a professional services firm based in Liverpool City Centre as they seek to appoint a Financial Accountant on an interim basis.

My client offer a fantastic working environment and attractive benefits package. This is a fundamental role within the department and my client are looking for somebody to take responsibility for the production of quarterly and annual accounts and the financial statements of company statutory accounts.

Key duties will include:

• Preparing statutory accounts accurately and delivering on time
• Providing support to various managers/teams by preparing information needed for quarterly/annual financial statements
• Preparing quarterly analysis
• Overseeing quarterly reconciliations
• Producing technical accounting papers
• Supporting the annual external audit

In order to be considered for this role you will:

• Be fully qualified, ideally ACCA or ACA
• Be technically-minded
• Experience of preparing, reviewing and submitting statutory accounts
• Knowledge and experience of financial systems, accounting processes and controls.
