Finance Business Partner

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a global leader in technology-driven solutions, based in London. This role offers you the chance to play a pivotal part in shaping financial strategy within an international environment, supporting senior management and cost centre leaders with insightful analysis and robust financial planning.

What you'll do:
  • Prepare, analyse, interpret, and deliver timely and accurate financial information within strict month-end deadlines to support business decision-making.
  • Work proactively with senior management and cost centre managers as a trusted finance business partner to ensure integrity and accuracy of transactions in line with legislation and internal policies.
  • Engage with cost centre managers to understand their commercial information requirements, providing detailed cost analytics and variance analysis to inform operational decisions.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for designated functions by collaborating with senior management on roadmap plans and resource allocation.
  • Partner closely with supplier management and procurement teams to identify opportunities for year-on-year cost savings within the function.
  • Collaborate with cost centre managers to review and approve expenditure requisitions ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Build strong partnerships across all levels of management, maintaining effective communication channels that foster trust and transparency.
  • Provide expert support on various finance projects that drive process improvement or support organisational change initiatives.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team’s objectives.
What you bring:
  • Qualified Financial Professional status (such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent) demonstrating a solid academic background and quantitative expertise.
  • Four to five years’ prior experience in financial analysis or financial planning & analysis roles within complex organisations.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency enabling you to manage large data sets efficiently and produce insightful reports for stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical thinking combined with abstract reasoning skills that allow you to interpret complex information clearly.
  • Proactive approach as a self-starter who is highly motivated, organised, curious about continuous improvement, and eager to contribute beyond core responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities enabling you to communicate effectively at all levels of the business—both verbally and in writing—and present confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while consistently meeting company deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Problem-solving orientation with proven capability to resolve issues promptly and propose practical solutions as challenges arise during daily operations.
  • Adaptability in responding positively to changing business environments as the group continues its expansion journey.
  • Genuine team player attitude—flexible, supportive of others’ needs, willing to go above expectations for communal success.
