SENIOR BUYER - ENGINEERING PARTS Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Wigan Keywords: Procurement, Supply Chain, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Category Strategy, Sourcing Initiatives, Market Tenders, Supplier Management Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Buyer for Engineering Parts to join their dynamic Procurement and Supply Chain team. This is a pivotal role, where you will be entrusted with the development and delivery of the group procurement strategy for pneumatic and hydraulics. You will * Lead a portfolio of products in pneumatics and hydraulics. * Develop and implement end-to-end category strategies. * Drive delivery of group procurement objectives. What you'll do: As a Senior Buyer for Engineering Parts, your role will be integral in shaping the future of our client's procurement strategy. You will be responsible for leading sourcing initiatives and market tenders, ensuring that contracts are awarded advantageously. Your excellent negotiation skills will be put to use in achieving optimal commercial terms. You will also play a crucial role in delivering KPIs relating to cost, cash, quality, service and continuity of supply. Your ability to gather, analyse and interpret market intelligence will be invaluable in this role.
