Our client is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:


As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in deploying and maintaining cloud services on AWS while ensuring scalability and security. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Your role will also involve developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth software releases. You will implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions while ensuring best practices for security are adhered to. Additionally, you will deploy, manage, and scale containerised applications using Docker. Your proactive approach will enable you to identify issues early on and resolve them swiftly to maintain system reliability.


* Deploy and maintain cloud services on AWS, ensuring scalability and security.
* Build, scale, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
* Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated software releases.
* Implement and optimise monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
* Ensure best practices for security, compliance and vulnerability management.
* Deploy, manage, and scale containerised applications using Docker.
* Proactively identify issues and quickly resolve incidents to maintain system reliability.
* Establish and maintain incident response and disaster recovery processes.


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this DevOps Engineer position brings an understanding of the entire DevOps lifecycle along with 3-5 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer in AWS. You possess strong experience with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket along with proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles. Your solid scripting skills in Python coupled with your familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments will be crucial to your success in this role. As a self-starter, you are comfortable leading initiatives and asking for support when needed.


* Understanding of the DevOps lifecycle in its entirety with 3-5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer in AWS.
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket.
* Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
