PowerBI Analyst

PowerBI Analyst South Manchester- Hybrid £40,000-£47,000 Currently working with a financial services business based in Cheshire that’s looking to hire a PowerBI Analyst to support their ongoing growth and drive toward data led decision making. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who’s passionate about building clean, insightful dashboards and wants to make a real impact across the business.

PowerBI Analyst duties:

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards tailored to key business areas
• Write clean, structured DAX and Power Query code for data modelling and transformation
• Collaborate with teams across the business to gather and translate reporting needs
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and value in all reporting outputs
• Use basic SQL to support data preparation and analysis when required

Skills required:

• Proven commercial experience with Power BI
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query
• Confident working with data from multiple sources to produce meaningful insights
• Basic SQL knowledge
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
