Power BI Analyst

PowerBI Analyst needed for finance company in Cheshire.

I’m working with a fantastic business based in Cheshire that’s looking to bring a Power BI Analyst on board to support their continued growth and focus on data-led decision making. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building clean, insightful dashboards and wants to have a genuine impact across the business.

You’ll be joining a supportive team and working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, shape data, and deliver solutions that drive performance.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Designing and developing Power BI dashboards tailored to key business functions

• Writing well-structured DAX and Power Query code for data modelling and transformation

• Collaborating with teams across the business to understand and translate requirements

• Ensuring data accuracy, clarity, and value in all reporting

• Using basic SQL to support data preparation when needed

Key Experience Needed:

• Strong experience using Power BI in a commercial setting

• Solid skills in DAX and Power Query

• Comfortable shaping data from various sources into clean, useful insights

• Basic SQL knowledge

• A problem-solving mindset and confidence working with stakeholders
