Data Analyst Day Rate: Competitive Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid) Duration: 3 month initial with possible view to extend

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join a growing organisation in Milton Keynes on an interim basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys making a real impact through data-driven insights and supporting business expansion. You will play a pivotal part in helping the company achieve its ambitious growth plans by providing essential analytical support, particularly within finance-related data. The initial contract is set for three months, with the potential for extension as the business continues to expand.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience working with SQL databases, including writing complex queries for data extraction and manipulation within a business context.
• Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards using Power BI that clearly communicate key performance indicators to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Power Query for cleaning, shaping, and preparing large datasets for analysis or reporting purposes.
• Familiarity with finance systems such as Xero or Sage 200, including proven ability to extract relevant financial information efficiently.
• A track record of successfully analysing financial data sets to identify trends, patterns, or anomalies that inform strategic decisions.
• Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail when documenting processes or managing multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines.
