VP Programme Manager

We’ve partnered with a global investment bank who is seeking a Programme Manager to join their Operations Change function. This is a newly created role with high visibility across the business and offers the opportunity to lead complex, multi-stream programmes that support long term strategic transformation across the EMEA region.

You will work across high impact initiatives including regulatory change, operational transformation, and technology integration, with a focus on the trade lifecycle and payments within investment banking.

What you will do:

• Lead the full lifecycle of cross-functional programmes from initiation through to completion
• Oversee delivery of change initiatives across regulatory, operational, and technology workstreams
• Establish and maintain governance structures and manage stakeholder communication at all levels
• Plan and manage programme budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
• Deliver initiatives involving trade capture, matching, settlement, and payments processing including SWIFT, SEPA, and CHAPS
• Ensure high-quality documentation and compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks
• Contribute to continuous improvement by leading post-implementation reviews and lessons learned

Skillset & Requirements:

• Proven track record of delivering operational change programmes within investment banking
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle and post-trade operations
• Experience delivering payments-related change, including cross-border and domestic systems
• Strong knowledge of payment messaging standards such as SWIFT and ISO 20022
• Proven experience delivering major regulatory change programmes
• Proven ability to manage budgets, align resources, and deliver to strategic objectives
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
