Robert Walters named as one of the best places to work in the UK

Robert Walters has been named as one of the best places to work in the UK for the third year running.

Ranking 21st in the UK’s best workplace 2020 in the Large category (251 – 1,000 employees) – Robert Walters shares the accolade with the likes of Adobe, Mercedes, SC Johnson and L’Occitane.

The external survey found that 82% of employees at Robert Walters stated that the organisation was a ‘great place to work’ and gave the company an overall trust index score of 79%.

Sarah Horridge, Head of HR at Robert Walters, stated:

“The reason that this award means more to us than any other because it is our people that essentially ‘voted for us.’ Great Place to Work allows for anonymous in-depth data to be obtained from our employees, allowing for a benchmark for us to improve from.

“The fact that we have achieved the ranking from Great Place to Work for three years now shows our commitment to creating the best possible environment for our people to succeed.”

Robert Walters employees stated:

  • 83% - organisation actively promotes mental and physical health among its employees
  • 93% - this is a friendly place to work

The company also received an overall employee engagement score of 80%. The biggest improvements, according to employees, made by Robert Walters in the last year have been:
