Chris Hickey is the CEO of the UK, Middle East and African businesses for Robert Walters plc. Chris joined Robert Walters in 2000, having previously worked as a lawyer in Australia, and latterly in the UK and Switzerland with Lehman Brothers.

As a specialist in Marketing and Communications for recruitment, Faye joined Faye has worked for the Robert Walters Group since 2003, looking after marketing activity in APAC from Sydney, then transferring to London to oversee the growing network of Robert Walters EMEA offices. Since then she has consulted with our clients on employer brand, media placement strategies, the use of social media for recruitment and ensures that our clients have access to the widest range of innovative sourcing techniques possible.

Indy Lachhar joined Resource Solutions as Head of People in 2016 from an engineering solutions provider where she led the Talent Management team. In 2017 Indy was appointed Group Talent Development Director for the wider Robert Walters Group and is now responsible for the design and execution of bespoke talent development interventions that help to unlock the potential of our people and teams. As an accredited Executive Coach, Indy has a wealth of experience within L&OD and is passionate about supporting our people to be the best they can be.


Chris Poole, Managing Director, UK, Robert Walters

A graduate from Hull University with a degree in Economics and Spanish, Chris has worked for Robert Walters for 15 years and is currently Managing Director of the UK (Regions). Chris has an unrivalled knowledge of the local and national market and has extensive experience of campaign management, working with a broad range of clients from SMEs to blue chips. Chris manages specialist teams across 7 offices covering 7 professional disciplines: accounting & finance, technology, manufacturing & engineering, supply chain & logistics, banking & financial services, administration & business support and HR.

Lucy Bisset, Director, Robert Walters

Lucy graduated from The University of Sheffield with a 2:1 in English Language & Sociology in 2004 and went straight into the recruitment industry. Lucy has over 14 years’ experience within the North West finance market and has been with Robert Walters for over 7 years.  She has responsibility for our accounting & finance business as well as the HR, legal, banking & financial services and administration & business support teams. 

Habiba Khatoon, Associate Director, Robert Walters

Habiba graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Law with German, and subsequently joined a leading recruitment business. She gained extensive knowledge of the Midlands market over 7 years before joining Robert Walters in 2014 as Associate Director, to lead the Midlands finance, banking & financial services, business development, supply chain & logistics, HR and legal divisions. Throughout her career, Habiba has worked with a broad range of commercial businesses and financial institutions, establishing a strong network within these sectors.

Phil Westcott, Director at Robert Walters

Phillip Westcott

Phill is the Director for the Robert Walters commerce division focused on finance. He has over 16 years recruitment experience with 2 global recruitment businesses following graduation in Business Management, always centred around accountancy and finance. Phill has been with Robert Walters for 7 years and is responsible for numerous teams delivering a range of services within finance from transactional to senior interim hires. Phill has worked with some of the leading media business across the capital.

Richard Boyd, Director, Robert Walters

Richard Boyd

Graduating from the University of West England and with 15 years recruitment experience, Richard is a Director and responsible for Robert Walters’ qualified finance recruitment team. Specialising across his career within finance recruitment, he started with Robert Walters in 2012 and has since developed a loyal client base, focusing on the placement of candidates ranging from the newly-qualified level through to Finance Director. Richard specialises in placing finance professionals into SMEs and corporate organisations across the technology and telecommunications sectors.

James Murray, Director, Robert Walters

James Murray

James is Director of London Financial Services, Projects, and IT.  He graduated in Business Information Technology from Kingston University, spending his early career as a business analyst before moving into recruitment in 2001. James joined Robert Walters in 2013 to manage and grow the financial services projects division, taking on the IT division in 2014 and the financial services division in 2017.  The divisions are preferred suppliers in London to most of the world’s leading banks, asset managers and many small and medium financial services firms.


Sam Walters, Director, Legal, Robert Walters

Sam Walters

Sam joined Robert Walters in 2012 and is now Director of the legal and procurement teams.  His teams specialise in placing qualified lawyers and Partners into many of London’s City, US, Offshore and West End law firms as well as some of the world’s leading FTSE businesses.  Prior to joining Robert Walters, Sam headed up the temporary team of another NYSE listed recruitment company.  Equipped with his experience from a top ten international law firm as a lawyer himself, Sam has been able to establish himself as a market leader in the legal recruitment field.



Ahsan Iqbal, Director, Technology, Robert Walters

Ahsan Iqbal

Ahsan graduated from Aston University with an Honours degree in Information Technology for Business before joining a global recruitment business where he was responsible for recruiting senior IT professionals across a variety of Industry sectors. He joined Robert Walters in 2013 and is the Director for the regional IT recruitment practice. He has developed a strong track record of delivering recruitment campaigns for a variety of organisations including Transport for Greater Manchester, JD Sports, G4S, Barclays and the General Medical Council.  Currently, Ahsan is responsible for leading teams that specialise in servicing roles in technology, business change and digital across permanent and contract.
