What you'll do:

In the capacity of Residential Real Estate Associate, you will:

  • Administer a diverse caseload of residential property files, ensuring each transaction is conducted with scrupulous attention to detail and efficiency throughout all procedural stages.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to provide bespoke legal advice tailored to the unique requirements of each client, upholding consistently high standards of service.
  • Supervise a wide range of transactional projects, adapting methodologies as necessary to accommodate evolving client expectations and prevailing market conditions.
  • Engage directly with clients by taking instructions, offering regular updates, and ensuring their experience remains seamless throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation and work in concert with senior colleagues to devise optimal solutions for clients’ property needs.
  • Scope and price work judiciously under partner guidance, maintaining transparency for clients whilst managing financial considerations with due diligence.
  • Foster enduring relationships with clients by providing reliable guidance and cultivating trust through open communication and responsiveness.
  • Participate in business development initiatives such as attending networking events and establishing connections with potential referrers to broaden the firm’s reach.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across the wider firm by nurturing internal networks that facilitate mutual growth among practice areas.
  • Assist in preparing team or sector pitches as required, contributing meaningfully to the department’s ongoing strategic objectives.

What you bring:

  • To excel as a Residential Real Estate Associate you will be expected to bring:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEx professional possessing 3-6 years post-qualification experience specifically within residential property law.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing an extensive range of residential conveyancing matters within a dedicated property team context.
  • Exceptional organisational capabilities enabling you to oversee multiple files concurrently whilst maintaining precision under demanding circumstances.
  • A proven record of delivering exemplary client service through effective communication skills, empathy, and consistent responsiveness.
  • Proficient project management abilities facilitating oversight of complex transactions from inception through completion without compromise on quality.
  • Capacity for effective collaboration within small teams, generously sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues’ achievements for collective success.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when preparing documentation or scoping work ensures consistently elevated standards are maintained across all matters.
  • Experience cultivating personal networks through business development endeavours such as attending industry events or engaging prospective referrers.
  • Familiarity with time recording systems for monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) and billing accurately on all matters undertaken is highly desirable.
  • Dedication to aligning personal objectives with departmental strategy by actively participating in performance measurement against key performance indicators.
