What you'll do:
In the capacity of Real Estate Solicitor based in Bristol, you will:
- Oversee a comprehensive caseload of real estate transactions from initiation through to completion, ensuring all legal obligations are fulfilled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Provide considered advice to landlords and tenants managing extensive property portfolios, delivering tailored commercial guidance aligned with each client’s objectives.
- Enhance the firm’s reputation by cultivating enduring relationships with both new and existing clients through exemplary service delivery.
- Supervise junior solicitors and paralegals within the department, imparting knowledge through coaching and mentorship to support their professional growth.
- Contribute meaningfully to business development activities by identifying opportunities for revenue generation within the local market.
- Participate in strategic discussions that inform the direction of the real estate team at both local and national levels.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across various practice areas to ensure seamless client solutions on multifaceted projects.
- Remain abreast of developments in property law and industry trends so that all advice provided is current and commercially pertinent.
- Engage in networking activities both internally and externally to generate new business leads and enhance the firm’s standing within the sector.
What you bring:
To excel as a Real Estate Solicitor in this esteemed role, you will:
- Possess at least one year of post-qualified experience as an England & Wales Solicitor specialising in real estate matters within a reputable regional or city firm environment.
- Demonstrate experience advising landlords or tenants on substantial portfolios across sectors such as retail, industrial or public sector.
- Exhibit a proven record of managing complex property transactions independently from inception to conclusion whilst upholding exemplary standards of client care.
- Display refined interpersonal skills enabling swift rapport-building with clients as well as colleagues at all organisational levels.
- Showcase experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers or support staff; demonstrate willingness to share expertise generously within the team context.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities facilitating clear explanation of intricate legal concepts to non-specialist audiences.
- Maintain commercial acumen coupled with up-to-date knowledge of prevailing trends affecting the UK real estate market.
