What you'll do:

In the capacity of Real Estate Senior Associate based in Bristol, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive advice to clients on all aspects of commercial property law with particular emphasis on residential and commercial development projects as well as real estate finance transactions.
  • Supervise the acquisition of development sites and oversee disposals following the completion of development phases to ensure seamless project delivery for clients.
  • Negotiate the property elements of development funding agreements with forward funders to secure outcomes that are advantageous for all stakeholders.
  • Offer expert guidance to lenders regarding real estate finance security work by conducting meticulous property due diligence and contributing to banking condition precedent lists.
  • Assist the corporate team with property-related issues arising during corporate acquisitions and disposals by reviewing share purchase agreements and asset purchase agreements.
  • Administer sales and disposals of investment properties subject to leases while ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and client objectives.
  • Negotiate commercial leases on behalf of institutional landlords and tenants to achieve terms that align with client interests.
  • Provide leadership to junior lawyers on larger projects by offering guidance, supervision, and fostering a collaborative team ethos.
  • Work closely with colleagues from planning, construction, corporate, banking, and litigation teams to deliver integrated solutions for complex transactions.
  • Engage directly with clients to cultivate enduring professional relationships whilst identifying new business opportunities through networking and business development activities.
