What you'll do:

In the capacity of Newly Qualified Real Estate Solicitor based in Bristol, you will:

  • Provide considered advice and support to a diverse clientele on all facets of transactional and advisory real estate matters within the commercial property domain.
  • Draft, scrutinise, and negotiate a broad spectrum of legal documents including leases, contracts for sale, agreements for lease, licences, and other property-related instruments.
  • Undertake meticulous due diligence on property transactions, identifying potential risks and offering clear recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to deliver seamless service on multidisciplinary projects involving real estate components.
  • Manage your own caseload with efficiency whilst upholding exemplary standards of client care and attention to detail throughout each transaction.
  • Participate in business development initiatives by cultivating strong relationships with existing clients and supporting efforts to attract new opportunities.
  • Remain abreast of developments in real estate law and market trends to ensure that clients receive timely, practical advice tailored to their requirements.
  • Contribute constructively to the team’s collective knowledge by sharing insights, attending training sessions, and providing support to junior colleagues as appropriate.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions with clients.

What you bring:

To excel as a Newly Qualified Real Estate Solicitor in this distinguished role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience handling commercial real estate transactions during your training contract or post-qualification period is essential for this appointment.
  • Registration as a solicitor with either the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) or Law Society of Scotland is requisite for consideration.
  • Exemplary drafting skills with scrupulous attention to detail when preparing leases, contracts for sale, agreements for lease, licences or related documents.
  • Highly developed organisational abilities enabling you to manage multiple matters concurrently whilst maintaining superior standards of client care.
  • Outstanding communication skills—both written and verbal—enabling you to elucidate complex legal concepts clearly for clients from varied backgrounds.
  • A collaborative disposition that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mutual support within a busy departmental context.
