Employment Solicitor - 12-Month FTC
Job Title: Employment Solicitor - 12-Month FTC Contract Length: 12 Months with potential of it going permanent Location: Birmingham– 2 days in office and 3 days working from home Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum - Depending upon experience (Up to 4 years PQE)
Key responsibilities of an Employment Solicitor - 12-Month FTC:
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims for Respondents, including drafting, hearings prep, and advocacy where appropriate
- Advising on employment status, working arrangements, and TUPE transfers
- Supporting clients with employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, whistleblowing, and discrimination
- Advising on reorganisations, redundancies, and settlement agreements
- Building strong relationships with clients who are making a difference
- Drafting and advise on contracts, HR policies, and procedures
Essential Skills & Experience:
- From NQ to 4 years PQE
- Strong technical knowledge of employment law (both contentious and non-contentious)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach
