Your New Job:

A generalist in-house legal role reporting into the General Counsel, within a pervasive legal function, seen as a centre of excellence within the business. You'll be working closely with stakeholders within the business, including ops, HR, compliance and procurement, while managing external third parties such as regulators and external counsel. As a valued member of the team, you'll work on varied commercial contracts negotiations, procurement matters, industry-specific regulatory advisory work and other ad hoc matters that will ensure each day is stimulating. You'll need to be able to work from the Central London offices c. three days per week.

Who You Are:

You will be an England & Wales qualified commercial lawyer with no working restrictions and c. 3-4 PQE (as a guide only). The organisation is open to both private practice and in-house backgrounds, as long as candidates can demonstrate a rich tradition of commercial contracts negotiation and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels. Any exposure to (public) procurement matters will be a bonus. The willingness to get involved in varied workstreams and to collaborate proactively with the business will be key. You'll need to be able to commute to the London office on a hybrid basis.
