An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading global financial services firm for an EU Regulatory Remuneration Policy Specialist to join their Human Resources division. This is a 18 month copntract role based in London, supporting key regulatory and policy work across EMEA.

About the Role:

Sitting within the Regulatory Remuneration Policy function, this role is critical in ensuring compliance with a range of EU remuneration regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with compensation teams across EMEA, New York, and Asia, as well as various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual review of Material Risk Taker (MRT) identification processes for European entities

  • Prepare documentation and materials for regulatory bodies and internal committees/boards

  • Advise business heads on regulatory impacts, including Brexit-related changes

  • Model fixed pay allowances for MRTs across EU entities

  • Enhance remuneration analytics and reporting for MRT populations

  • Lead the development and submission of key regulatory disclosures (e.g. CRR450, Section 12, High Earners, Benchmarking reports)

  • Act as a subject matter expert on European remuneration regulations, supporting audits and reviews

Key Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of EU remuneration regulations including CRDV, IFD, IFPR, and UCITS V

  • Background in Compensation, HR Risk Management, or Compliance in the financial services sector

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capability

  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and offer pragmatic solutions

  • Proactive, inquisitive and confident in stakeholder interactions

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
