An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lender Coordinator to join a reputable and well-established claims organisation based in Wythenshawe. This pivotal role offers you the chance to become the essential link between internal teams and external lenders, ensuring that every claim is handled with accuracy, care, and full regulatory compliance. You will be at the heart of process improvement, risk monitoring, and relationship building, all while supporting positive outcomes for consumers.
What you'll do:
As a Lender Coordinator based in Wythenshawe, you will play an integral part in ensuring seamless collaboration between internal claims teams and external lending partners. Your daily activities will involve nurturing professional relationships through regular meetings with lenders while also acting as the main point of contact for any queries or concerns. You will be responsible for maintaining oversight of all incoming information from lenders—verifying its accuracy—and keeping abreast of any changes that might influence the way claims are processed.
- Conduct regular meetings with all lenders to build and maintain strong professional relationships that foster trust and effective communication.
- Collaborate closely with both internal claims processing teams and external lenders to agree upon, review, and enhance processes for optimal customer outcomes.
- Gain a thorough understanding of internal workflows to ensure information received from lenders is always accurate, complete, and timely.
- Stay up to date with changes in lender processes and assess how these may impact customer journeys as well as business operations.
- Manage and resolve lender-related complaints efficiently in line with FCA guidelines and established internal procedures.
- Analyse data sets and statistics to verify that information requested from or provided by lenders is appropriate, accurate, and supports business objectives.
- Identify operational risks proactively by monitoring key metrics and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement effective solutions promptly.
- Track DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) submissions using spreadsheets to identify gaps, trends, or issues that could affect service delivery.
- Monitor claim statuses vigilantly to flag delays or bottlenecks such as overdue DSAR requests or other potential obstacles.
- Evaluate opportunities for system or process improvements that can enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency by working alongside in-house developers.
What you bring:
To excel as a Lender Coordinator, you will bring proven experience from roles requiring close collaboration with both internal colleagues and external partners—ideally within regulated industries like financial services or legal claims. Your background should demonstrate comfort navigating complex compliance frameworks such as those set out by the FCA while remaining focused on delivering positive outcomes for customers. You will have honed your analytical abilities through previous exposure to data-driven decision-making; spotting patterns quickly comes naturally to you. Organisational prowess is essential as you balance multiple priorities without losing sight of important details.
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders using excellent interpersonal skills that foster cooperation across teams.
- Good working knowledge of Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes along with an understanding of customer data rights within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) compliance requirements—especially those relating to complaint handling procedures and consumer duty obligations.
- Analytical mindset capable of interpreting complex data sets accurately while identifying anomalies or emerging trends relevant to business operations.
- Desirable: Previous experience in PCP claims or similar consumer-focused financial service settings would be advantageous but not essential for success in this role.
- Desirable: Familiarity with CRM systems or case management software tools would support efficient workflow management but can be developed on the job.
- Desirable: A proactive approach towards problem-solving coupled with adaptability when responding to change will help you thrive in this evolving environment.
