An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Coordinator to join a reputable and regulated organisation based in Wythenshawe. This role offers you the chance to become a vital part of a collaborative team, where your attention to detail and ability to build strong professional relationships will be highly valued. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external lenders, supporting the delivery of accurate, compliant, and customer-focused claims processes.

What you'll do:

As an Operations Coordinator based in Wythenshawe, you will immerse yourself in the heart of the organisation’s claims operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve acting as the essential link between internal claims processing teams and external lenders. You will be responsible for maintaining open lines of communication through regular meetings with lenders, ensuring that all information exchanged is precise and up to date. By keeping abreast of any changes in lender processes or regulations, you will help safeguard smooth customer journeys while minimising operational risks.

  • Conduct regular meetings with all lenders to build and maintain strong professional relationships that support effective claims handling.
  • Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external partners to agree upon, review, and improve processes that secure the best possible outcomes for customers.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of internal claims processing workflows while ensuring information received from lenders is always accurate and complete.
  • Stay informed about changes in lender processes, assessing potential impacts on customer journeys as well as overall business operations.
  • Manage and resolve lender-related complaints in strict accordance with FCA guidelines and internal procedures, ensuring fair outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Analyse data and statistics meticulously to verify that information requested from and received by lenders is appropriate, accurate, and timely.
  • Identify operational risks proactively by monitoring trends in DSAR requests, claim statuses, and submission spreadsheets; work with stakeholders to implement effective solutions promptly.

What you bring:

To excel as an Operations Coordinator in this setting, you will bring proven experience from roles where regulatory compliance is paramount—ideally within claims management or financial services. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to connect easily with colleagues across departments as well as external partners. You should feel comfortable navigating complex data sets using your analytical strengths while remaining attentive to every detail. A background involving FCA-regulated environments will serve you well here; so too will your ability to handle sensitive complaints empathetically yet efficiently.

  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to foster positive relationships across teams and external partners.
  • A solid understanding of DSAR processes along with knowledge of customer data rights within regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with FCA compliance requirements—especially regarding complaint handling procedures and consumer duty obligations.
  • An analytical mindset capable of interpreting complex data sets to spot anomalies or emerging trends quickly.
  • Excellent organisational skills paired with meticulous attention to detail when tracking tasks or managing competing priorities.
  • Experience working within regulated sectors such as claims management, financial services, or legal environments is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments while maintaining clear communication channels at all times.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive situations empathetically while adhering strictly to regulatory guidelines.
  • Adaptability when faced with changing systems or processes; proactive approach towards identifying solutions rather than problems.
  • Desirable: Experience in PCP claims or similar consumer-focused financial service settings; familiarity with CRM or case management systems.
