  • Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from bankers by sourcing, retrieving, and organising publicly available information on companies, markets, industries, economies, investment vehicles or individuals using reputable market data sources.
  • Engage directly with internal stakeholders to provide tailored research solutions while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and client service at all times.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues locally and globally on projects that require shared expertise and collective problem-solving.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance service delivery and contribute positively to the overall banker experience.
  • Utilise learning resources proactively to expand your knowledge base, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices relevant to corporate finance operations.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity when handling confidential information, ensuring discretion is maintained in all aspects of your work.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to evaluate data quality and relevance, ensuring that research outputs are both accurate and insightful.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in both English and German languages with excellent oral and written communication skills that enable you to convey complex information clearly.
  • Previous experience in a similar research or analysis environment within financial services or related sectors is required for success in this role.
  • A general understanding of the financial sector along with familiarity with investment banking terminology enhances your ability to deliver relevant insights.
  • Proficiency in utilising market data platforms such as LSEG Workspace/Eikon, S&P/CapIQ, Factiva, Dealogic or Profound is highly desirable for efficient information retrieval.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail under time constraints is essential.
  • A graduate or postgraduate qualification in any discipline provides a solid foundation for analytical thinking required in this position.
  • Experience working collaboratively within diverse teams fosters stronger interpersonal connections and more effective project outcomes.
  • A passion for continuous learning combined with openness towards feedback supports ongoing professional development within the organisation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly ensures trustworthiness when dealing with confidential matters.
