Commercial Operations Analyst

Opportunity for a candidate with strong data analytics experience to join an exciting business on a 6 month fixed term contract. The ideal candidate will be immediately available to start.

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Commercial Operations Analyst to support a growing commercial team. This is a multi-faceted role requiring a blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining and improving commercial data systems and supporting operational workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across various geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data in internal platforms, spreadsheets, and documentation systems.

  • Ensure data integrity by verifying accuracy, completeness, and consistency; support resolution of discrepancies.

  • Generate, organise, and distribute commercial reports and dashboards; assist with visualisations and summaries for internal stakeholders.

  • Create and support ad-hoc reports for various commercial and operational teams.

  • Monitor data processes and contribute to efficiency improvements and best practices.

  • Assist with the maintenance and oversight of timesheet tools and related tracking systems.

  • Document workflows, support process mapping, and contribute to the development of templates, trackers, and SOPs.

  • Support the setup and ongoing management of databases and commercial operations tools.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline or enhance data and operational processes.

Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.

  • Strong PowerPoint proficiency and ability to communicate insights visually.

  • Experience working with large datasets, with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a curiosity to interrogate data.

  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities and tools.

  • Clear communicator with excellent documentation and collaboration skills.
