What you'll do:

As Liquidity Reporting Manager, you will play an integral part in safeguarding the organisation’s reputation through meticulous oversight of all aspects of liquidity regulatory reporting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve producing complex returns for both internal management and external regulators, analysing variances to ensure data validity, and implementing efficient processes that drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across finance and risk functions, contribute your expertise to strategic projects, and act as a trusted point of contact for queries from industry bodies or peer institutions. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also strong interpersonal skills, your ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels will be essential as you help maintain compliance within an ever-changing European regulatory framework.

  • Oversee the accurate and timely production of all liquidity regulatory reports for submission to relevant authorities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
  • Support the Senior Manager in establishing a centre of excellence for regulatory reporting by driving process improvements and maintaining high standards of data integrity.
  • Take full ownership of IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and external requirements.
  • Proactively engage in cross-training activities to ensure comprehensive coverage of all liquidity reporting deliverables within the team.
  • Monitor regulatory and internal limits by tracking key risk indicators related to liquidity reporting and providing detailed variance analyses as required.
  • Implement robust controls and infrastructure to minimise manual intervention in reporting processes while ensuring consistency and validity of reported data.
  • Respond promptly to requests from regulatory bodies regarding liquidity reporting matters, delivering high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of management reports, forecasts, and analytical models that support effective decision-making across the business.
  • Assist with testing technical changes to liquidity reporting systems, ensuring new frameworks are correctly integrated into existing processes.
  • Provide input into strategic business initiatives by assessing the impact of regulatory changes on current reporting practices.

What you bring:

To excel as Liquidity Reporting Manager, you will bring significant hands-on experience preparing complex liquidity returns within regulated banking environments. Your background will include deep familiarity with European banking regulations, particularly CRR/CRD, and demonstrable skill navigating evolving compliance requirements. You will have honed your analytical acumen through roles demanding precision under pressure, supported by formal qualifications such as ACA or ACCA. Beyond technical expertise, your interpersonal strengths will shine as you build relationships across teams, share knowledge generously with colleagues, and contribute positively to an inclusive workplace culture.   • A university degree or equivalent qualification in finance or accounting; ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar credentials are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in liquidity regulatory reporting within banking or financial services environments, ideally covering Irish or European jurisdictions.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of CRR/CRD regulations as well as local guidance relating specifically to liquidity aspects of regulatory reporting.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills enable you to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly numerate with advanced analytical capabilities; able to interpret large datasets accurately under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated project management abilities with proven success managing competing priorities across multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Experience designing or enhancing control frameworks for financial reporting processes, minimising manual interventions wherever possible.
  • Track record of fostering inclusive team environments where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support are prioritised.
  • Ability to adapt quickly within a changing regulatory landscape while maintaining focus on quality outcomes for both internal stakeholders and external regulators.
