Internal Auditor - Insurance
A leading Insurance group is seeking an Insurance Auditor to join their team as an Internal Auditor or a Senior Internal Auditor depending on experience.
This role will involve a 50/50 split between conducting internal control audits in compliance with SOX and performing comprehensive audits of operational processes to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the firm's operations.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in SOX compliance and internal auditing within Insurance.
- Understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and internal control frameworks.
- Good understanding of UK regulatory environment for insurance firms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Visio is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related field are preferred.
- Qualified in professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, CIA or equivalent are preferred.
