Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner Manchester City Centre - up to £70,000 DOE Robert Walters are delighted to be exclusively partnered with an exciting brand based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Our client are seeking a commercially focused and analytically driven Finance Business Partner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly-regarded, fast-growing brand.

You will be acting as a strategic advisor - responsible for providing insightful analysis, financial oversight, and performance challenge to ensure logistics costs are effectively managed and aligned with the broader business strategy.

Key Duties:

• Partner with Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to deliver financial insight and support decision-making across inbound freight, warehousing, and outbound distribution.
• Monitor and analyse logistics costs (e.g., transport, storage, third-party logistics, returns), identifying risks, opportunities, and trends.
• Prepare monthly logistics financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary.
• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes for logistics cost centres.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to understand the cost-to-serve model and its impact on product profitability and pricing strategy.
• Lead logistics cost modelling for new market entry, warehouse expansions, or 3PL transitions.
• Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track logistics performance (e.g., cost per unit, delivery accuracy, lead times).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase cost efficiency and financial transparency within the logistics
• Work closely with accounting teams to ensure accurate month-end close and accruals for logistics-related expenses.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Experience in a business partnering or FP&A role
• Strong understanding of logistics operations (e.g., warehousing, shipping, 3PL management)
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite)
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
