What you'll do:

As Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial health of this growing organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve preparing insightful financial analyses that underpin executive decisions while ensuring all regulatory obligations are met with precision. You will work collaboratively across departments, partnering with underwriting, collections, and product teams, to ensure financial objectives are seamlessly integrated into operational plans.

By supervising a dedicated finance team and overseeing robust internal controls, you will help maintain accuracy in all aspects of record-keeping. Your expertise in analysing credit risk metrics will directly influence lending policy improvements.

Additionally, you will play a key role in audit processes and contribute strategic recommendations that drive sustainable growth.   • Assist preparation and analysis of detailed financial reports such as loan portfolio performance, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Monitor cash flow, capital requirements and funding sources to ensure optimal support for all lending activities across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Analyse delinquency rates, credit risks, and cost of funds in order to inform lending policies and maintain robust risk management frameworks.
  • Assist internal and external audits to guarantee timely filing of statutory accounts and regulatory reports without error.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of comprehensive financial policies, procedures, and risk management strategies that safeguard the business.

What you bring:

To excel as Finance Manager in this organisation’s fast-evolving environment, you will bring proven experience from similar roles within the financial services sector, ideally where you have managed lending portfolios or worked closely with regulated products.

Your background should include hands-on involvement in preparing statutory accounts, conducting risk assessments on credit portfolios, and implementing rigorous compliance measures.   • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified is essential to demonstrate your technical expertise.

  • Proficiency in using advanced financial management tools as well as accounting software packages is necessary for effective performance.
  • Outstanding communication skills are needed for clear reporting as well as managing cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or mentoring finance professionals within collaborative environments is highly valued.
