Save job

A great opportunity has come up for an RTR Manager to join a well-established organisation in Salford, offering £55,000–£65,000 plus a strong bonus. This is a permanent role suited to someone who thrives in a hybrid setup and is keen to drive digital change across finance operations. You’ll lead on core accounting processes, champion automation, and help build a culture of continuous improvement. With a strong focus on leadership and development, this is a chance to make a real impact while progressing your own career in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What you'll do:

As RTR Manager, you’ll lead a team responsible for high-quality reconciliations across the balance sheet, revenue, and cost accounts. Alongside day-to-day oversight, you’ll drive process improvements, champion a digital-first mindset, and make full use of platforms like Oracle Fusion and ARCS.

You’ll collaborate with Finance Operations to resolve issues quickly and keep things moving, while fostering a culture of learning and development within your team. From coaching to performance reviews, you’ll play a key role in supporting growth and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely financial reporting

  • Oversee the accurate, complete, and timely production of balance sheet, revenue, and cost account reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies and aged items are resolved efficiently.
  • Drive the adoption of ARCS (Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation), centralizing reconciliation policies and procedures to ensure consistent user engagement and compliance.
  • Actively participate in testing ERP SaaS releases and other system developments to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Embed a digital mindset within the team by promoting continuous improvement initiatives and encouraging innovative approaches to standardization and automation.
  • Support audit activities by collaborating with external auditors, providing comprehensive documentation and clear explanations during financial audits.
  • Work closely with other managers across Finance Operations to resolve discrepancies, identify errors, and foster a cohesive management team built on trust and support.

What you bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring solid experience managing people and processes in a fast-paced finance environment. You’ll be confident improving reconciliation workflows and driving automation, ideally with hands-on experience using Oracle Fusion or ARCS.

Strong interpersonal skills are just as important — you’ll know how to build relationships across teams, support your team’s development, and give clear, constructive feedback. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for digital transformation, you’ll be someone who inspires change and brings others along with you

  • Qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems—ideally Oracle Fusion or ARCS—with proven ability to manage automated reconciliation processes effectively.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading RTR teams within transactional service centres using automated reconciliation tools.
  • A digital mindset that embraces process automation and systems solutions as key drivers for efficiency gains.
  • Experience reviewing existing processes critically and implementing meaningful change that enhances accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration across cross-functional teams at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with attention to detail—ensuring work is completed accurately under tight deadlines.
