An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join a leading organisation in Manchester, offering a highly competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on delivering meaningful insights that drive cost efficiency and strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an FP&A Analyst, you'll work closely with finance and non-finance teams to deliver meaningful insights and financial clarity. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing revenue recognition accounting processes in line with relevant standards.

  • Overseeing subscription and loyalty scheme accounting and reporting.

  • Supporting the delivery of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

  • Leading the weekly trade review process, analysing trends and presenting insights.

  • Providing area managers with monthly performance reports and commentary.

  • Collaborating on cost base analysis to support operational and financial decisions.

  • Supporting financial performance reviews and ad-hoc analysis across UK & Ireland.

  • Working with Group Finance on key focus areas to ensure aligned objectives.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.


What You Bring:

You’re a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with strong technical and commercial acumen. You understand how to interpret complex data and communicate it effectively to a range of stakeholders.

  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and accounting principles.

  • Previous experience in retail, leisure, hospitality or a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from large data sets.

  • Confident presenting financial information to non-finance colleagues.

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and profitability modelling (desirable).

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Collaborative and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive and adaptable when priorities shift.
